Programas de Starcraft y utilidades

HotKeys StarCraft
Anteriormente ya hablé de esto, sin embargo, hay una forma mejor aún de cambiar las hot keys a otros idiomas que hará cambiar también los menús del juego. La diferencia está en que no solo cambiamos la Local.dll, sino también la EditLocal.dll

Zip Descargar Hotkeys en Español (zip, 36,0 KB)
Zip Descargar Hotkeys en Inglés (zip, 40,0 KB)
Zip Descargar Hotkeys en Alemán (zip, 36,0 KB)

Instrucciones:
Substituir los archivos Local.dll y EditLocal.dll de la carpeta raíz de StarCraft (C:\Archivos de programa\Starcraft\ ) por los que se proporcionan en el zip.



Diálogos del juego y de las unidades

Nota: Esto ya no funciona desde la actualización del último Parche.

Este programa extrae todos los archivos de sonidos de los MPQ que usa blizzard para comprimir datos; fue publicado por la misma Blizzard, y pone todos los archivos de sonido usados durante el juego (Voces de unidades, sonidos de explosiones, alertas, … ) en una carpeta llamada “Sound” y en formato wav.
Esto es útil porque ahora el juego leerá los audios desde fuera, y si mantenemos el mismo nombre de archivo podemos poner el sonido que mas nos plazca:

Instrucciones:
Descomprimir y ejecutar el exe que se proporciona en el archivo zip.

Una vez esto, si queremos tener los diálogos de las unidades durante el juego en otro idioma, pues nos basta con conseguir los diálogos de estas que han sido extraídos de la versión de otro idioma. He conseguido los diálogos de la versión Española y la versión Inglesa:

Instrucciones:
Descomprimir y copiar en la carpeta “Sound”, sobrescribiendo los archivos por los del zip.
Nota importante: Los sonidos no lingüísticos (explosiones, rugidos zerg, … ) no se ha incluido, ya que son iguales en todas las versiones.



Ejecutar Starcraft en una ventana
Esta aplicación permite ejecutar Starcraft en una ventana, sin estar a pantalla completa. Muy útil cuando hay que probar mapas o manejar algún proceso secundario del Ordenador.

Analizar Replays de Starcraft
Esta utilidad abre los archivos de los replays (.rep), los analiza y muestra una serie de estadísticas y gráficas del juego. Cuantas unidades fueron creadas, los recursos, las acciones, las famosas “Acciones por minuto” (APM), etc. Muy útil y fácil de usar.

Jugar en otros servidores battele.net
Una herramienta usada para editar la lista de servidores battle.net de Starcraft y agregar los que quieras mediante archivos de registro. Como los servidores no oficiales no piden serial para jugar… :P

Nota importante: para añadir un servidor a la lista actual, necesitas datos como estos:

Mejores Inteligencias Artificiales de Starcraft
Este Software lleva incorporadas diversas IA’s de mucho mas nivel que la estándar de Starcraft. Una IA, es a lo que llamamos “la forma de jugar” del ordenador. Este pack incluye a las famosas Raynor 2.0 y Rascine 3.0. Ideales para practicar. Varios jugadores pueden jugar juntos si ambos están ejecutando la misma IA.

Instrucciones
Para jugar con estas IA’s debes ejecutar el programa, le das al botón de “Install” y luego eliges la IA deseada. Él automáticamente lanzará el juego usando esa IA.



Crea tu propio Servidor Battle.net
PvPGN (Player vs Player Gaming Network) is a b.netd based gaming network server emulation project. It gives you the power to run your own server, manage your own users, run your own tournaments, etc.

Inicialmente esto fue pensado como una forma de poder jugar partidas en LAN emulando un servidor B.net, que es mas cómodo el manejo y trae muchas mas opciones, pero también se puede instalar en un servidor de Internet y crear tu propio servidor :D

Atención
Instalar esta cosa no es sencillo, se necesita experiencia en el uso de servidores. Además creo que se necesita un servidor dedicado para que corra.

Instrucciones
Descomprime el exe y ejecútalo; selecciona la fuente deseada de la lista y ya. En cualquier momento puedes restaurar la fuente original con un solo clic en “Default”.

El otro es la fuente TTF (True Tipe Font) de Starcraft, que si la instalas, podrás escribir usando la letra de Starcraft en cualquier programa:
